Got my digital camera back so thot that I test it out. I was at my Sis's place last Saturday nite so I took some photos from her apartment's balcony..

Ohh My Goodness..

The strangest thing happened to me yesterday. My buddy and I went to our favourite terubok bakar restaurante in Bangi for lunch ( had 2 kerat terubok, kemponan!! )and then we headed for Alamanda, Putrajaya for a bit of marketing actually, tapi as usual ended up doing some tiny shopping.

What happened was, you see, pagi2 tu we went for our morning exercise at Titiwangsa. It was wet due to the rain that came pouring the night before. Sambil berjalan dengan rancaknya terasa sejuk pulak kat my toes . Rupa2nya air sudah masuk melalui, I guess, an opening in the front portion of the left shoe. Anyway kita habiskan juga our ritual lepas tu off for my favourite part of the morning, breakfast at Damai Selera ( memang berselera habis ).

Sambung balik cerita kat Alamanda tadi, mula2 nak marketing aje tapi ternampak kasut sukan so terus masuk le. Adalah masuk a few shops before we came to this one. Kat kedai ni ada sales kasut jenama Fila. I tried about 5-6 designs ( susah sebab tak ada my size ) until I decided on this one design ( mainly because ada size ). Dah ok dengan design and size tapi sebelah kasut yang dia bagi tu ada kesan koyak sikit, so kita orang suruh dia get another pair. Dia pun went to get them and I try the shoes again this time dengan stokin yang dibekalkan. Bila dah decided tu, I told my buddy to check that kita tak terambil yang ada koyak. Payed for them and off we went for McDonald's.

Sampai rumah rasa teruja nak cuba balik kasut yang baru dibeli, and guess what we discovered...

MY NEW PAIR OF LEFT SHOES!!


p/s My "Assisstant" tu sampai loni tak henti2 lagi ketawakan I.( but she volunteered to go and get it changed for me ).

Me and my theory....

Was at my old office yesterday ( macamlah ada new office hehe ) and I was asked to comment on my idol's latest gossip ( siapa lah lagi kalau bukan CT ). Anyway, what I told my friend was, kalau dia dijodohkan dengan Datuk K, ini merupakan dugaan Allah swt terhadap dia. You knowlah after being given best of the best it's time for a bigger test. And that was that.

Then after a long day out ( when to One Utama lepas tu, to collect my digital camera ), came back and on my notebook. Wanted to read the papers online and terpampang gambar Fazley with Datin Mum ( anak Datuk rupanya ) launching his new project, Fazley International College. After finished reading the whole article, I came to some "interesting" conclusions ( being an ex-researcher lah katakan ).

He is building an RM8 million dollar college in ( get this ) Cheras. Guess whose company is in Cheras? Somebody said CT kata dia tak nak kawan dengan suami orang ( thus the reason why Datuk K ceraikan isterinya ) tapi my theory is, it could be that she is not seeing Datuk K but a bachelor. For the record she did not say that she is involved with Datuk K ( it was all speculations ). What she said was dia sudah found somebody. CT ada kata dia suka orang yang bijak ( somebody with PhD may be or now somebody with a college for higher learning?? ) and boleh memimpin ( being a motivator qualifies for a pemimpin, don't you think? ). Well, that's my theorylah. Now, all we have to do is wait and see if it's true or false, right?

It's finally here...

Selepas bertungkus lumus mengscan gambar2 dari trip to Spain dan Portugal ( it took us almost 1 whole day, kalau kita add up the hours ), it's finally available for sharing.

Keluhan yang tak kesampaian..

Hari ni pagi2 lagi dah on notebook. Semenjak dua menjak nii susah betul nak masuk streamyx, asyik kena tendang atau takleh masuk langsung. Geram betul dibuatnya. When you are at home most of the time the only link to the outside world is your internet, so kalau takleh get access tu memang menyusahkan.

Pagi ni baru dapat membaca komen2 in my blog and responded to them appropriately. By the way, anybody yang berminat nak tengok kesemua ( 342 ) gambar2 trip ke Spain/Portugal are welcome to drop by kat La Villas ( 8-2-2 ).

One of the berita yang banyak diperkatakan oleh kekawan dan keluarga sebaik saja my kepulangan tempuh hari is berita CT dengan Datuk K. Memang sungguh mengecewakanlah kalau CT memilih dia sebagai calon suami. Bukan apa, banyak cerita yang kurang enak didengar mengenai Datuk K ni. Harap2 bukan dialah yang dimaksudkan bila CT kata hatinya sudah dimiliki. Apakah hikmah sebalik penyatuan ini ( kalau betul lah ) agaknya. Apa2 pun, minat tetap minat juga ( mungkin kureng sikitlah ).

After kenaikan minyak tempoh hari I belum lagi isi minyak penuh until last Tuesday. What a shock ( may be it shouldn't be ), almost RM60 for full tank! Now memang kena tukar kereta, any suggestions??

Picture Summary

I just got the photographs from the photo shop. To tell you the truth, I was quite dissappointed with the outcome. Gambarnya tak seindah permandangan dan buildings yang kita orang tengok di sana. Hope my other friends had better luck with their shots. Adalah a few shots that turned out ok tapi I'm not in them ( what a waste hehe ). Can't share them with you right now cos' the scanner is only available on Saturday ( MAH will borrow it from her office for the weekend ).

There are over 300 photos so I kenalah screen them before downloading into the notebook. Banyak kerja tu nak kena buat. Untuk kekawan tak kisah, I will find the time to do it ( as though I have other things to do ). Be patient OK.

By the way, sedih juga dengar kekawan ada banyak karyotyping to do ( what with the guru in Penang pulak tu untuk seminggu ni ). I tak nak le gi ofis menggangu kerja you all pulak. So I will only come over next week. That way I get to screen the photographs while you all get to screen the metaphase spreads hahaha.

Hi!! I'm back.

We landed in KLIA at 11.22am yesterday 13th Mac. It was a long and tiring 21 hours flight from Madrid via Rome to Doha and from Doha to Kuala Lumpur. Thinking about the flight changes the state of calmness to state of fear ( muka pun dah berkerut nii ). It will be a while before I am willing to take another flight ( tapi kesian ada kawan kita tu dah kena fly to Penang pulak today).

Selepas berhempas pulas clearing the luggage's content ( basuh apa yang patut, and simpan balik yang lain2 tu ), I managed to get some decent rest. Balik sini dah 3 kali makan nasi in one and a half day. Kat sana last two days baru jumpa nasi.

I tak dapat nak tunjuk gambar2 yang diambil sebab kena scan dulu ( you see I tak bawa my digital camera so tak dapat nak transfer gambar directly into this notebook )so kenalah bersabar menunggunya. Gambar dah dihantar untuk dicuci ( hope you all can see what we saw there ).

Overall the trip was enjoyable, cold and tiring ( in that order ). The only seksa part is the flight, both ways. I saw what I wanted to see there but did not do everything that I ought to have done. As for the buildings and sceneries , ada yang mesmerising and tak kurang juga yang shocking. Nanti you can see what I mean by this bila gambar dah siap.

There's all for now till the pictures are ready ( you know what they say "A picture is worth a thousand words" ).

Wait till I get back..

Tomorrow by 4.40pm we will be boarding the Qatar Airways to our first destination Madrid, Spain through Doha. It will be a 23 hour flight ( with 5 hours transit in Doha ). Thinking about the long flight really makes me feel letih already, haiya!! I really don't know what to expect from this trip but I hope some enjoyable and memorable times, be it good or bad.

Walau pun perasaan teruja tu ada untuk melihat dan merasai pengalaman baru di tempat orang tapi hati rasa terharu untuk meninggalkan keselesaan dan ketenangan yang dirasai semasa berada di negara sendiri lebih-lebih lagi di rumah sendiri, Unit 8-2-2 di Kondo La Villas. You knowlah being a pesara I spent a whole lot of time in my home. These are among the things I will be missing....

So my friends and family, you won't be reading any new entry until I balik from my trip and that will be on the 13th of March. Till then pray for our safe trip to and from Spain and that we will always be in God's care and mercy through out the long journey.

Something funny...

I don't know if anyone of you watched this programme last night on Star World " Death of a Princess: Accident or Assassination". It was an interview with Mohamed Al Fayed ( Dodi's father ) about his suspicion regarding the death of Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed about 10 years ago. Anyway, that's not what I wanted to share with you this morning but rather what he said about Prince Charles.

He said Charles is an idiot because of his involvement with Camilla when he has a wife that looks like an angel, he would rather have a woman who likes like a crocadile. He said " Can you imagine getting up in the morning from bed and seeing a donkey sleeping next to you.. " He said with a man like that as future King, England will never have a chance. Hahaha....that's me laughing out loud to myself.

Kejutan 28-2-06!!

Macam biasa bangun pagi solat subuh, baca yasin and terus panjat katil to watch berita pagi and MHI on TV3. Tanpa disangka-sangka tajuk berita " Harga petrol naik 30 sen bermula hari ini.." dipaparkan. Bayangkanlah terkedu sekejap.

Lepas dah hilang the temporary shock, kepala pun mulalah berfikir apa yang boleh dibuat untuk membantu mengurangkan beban kenaikan, mula-mula petrol lepas tu barangan yang sewaktu dengannya. The first thing that comes to mind when we think about petrol is of course your CAR. For me the question is OIL CONSUMPTION, is it small enough. Now, this is without any doubt related to the cc of the car but one must also think of the kilometers involved. As for me, the cc is quite ok ( 1.3cc ) and kilometers, not so bad. Tapi since sekarang dah bergelar pesara ( with no other income )every kenaikan harga is not something we can take lightly. I can also reduce expenditure here by getting myself a smaller car ( maklumlah kereta ni pun dah kuat kena pukul ). This is definitely something to consider!!

The next thing ( in my case lah ) the meals taken outside the home needs to be reduced. Not only because you spent more eating ouside ( what with the possibility of price increase ) but you also have to drive there ( more kilometers ). So the solution is to do marketing once a week, cook my own meals ( this will also help reduce my choles and bp ) and eat out once or twice with my friends ( not when I'm on my own ). Seriously my choles and bp are still not what I wish for them to be, geram betul !!

Inilah salah satu jenis sarapan pagi sekarang Quaker oats with banana and teh O panas ( kurang manis )

Ada benda yang sedang dicari...

Bangun pagi-pagi semalam bersiap untuk bersenam kat Titiwangsa dengan MAH tetapi ada small rain pulak. Di sebabkan semangat yang berkobar-kobar tu kita orang tunggu juga hingga hujan berhenti. Off we went and got that part of our weekend chores over and done with. It was a good sweaty workout. Lepas exercise we did something evil, we had a medium weight breakfast at our favourite eating place Damai Selera, thus explaining the weight pendulum.

We had a late lunch at about 3.oopm, makan KFC ( jangan terkejut, kita ordered Fish burger and Dinner plate, shared between 2 healthy adult ) tak le banyak pun makan. Lagi pun kita tak makan kulitnya ( yang by the way nampak ranggup and juicy ). Lepas ni baru started the search for an Omron BP set. We had to drive from one side of Wangsa Maju to the other side of Selayang, Gombak and Batu Caves. All because I wanted a BP set that is reliable, cheap and autocalibrated. Meet a few sales personal yang tak tahu the meaning of calibration to the one who showed me a blood glucose detection kit.

Anyway, we found one that is cheap tapi jenama baru Microlife at two pharmacy shops in Gombak. One shop had a cheaper price tag with free clinical thermometer but no pharmasist and another shop had a pharmasist to explain to me that even though the brand is new it's Swiss made ( tapi harga kat kedai dia was RM100 more than the opposite shop with no free thermometer). He had one on display so we tested our bp. Mine was 152/85 and MAH was 121/82 ( lebih kurang le ). I'm not so sure if the set is out or it's because we have been running around town before we reached that last stop. Mind you we have been looking at closed pharmacies for the last half hour earlier. At the end of it all the decision made was to go back to the cheap shop and talk to the pharmasist when he/she is in (another day lah nampaknya ).

Ini pun BP juga tapi bukan blood pressure tapi BOTAK PAIR...

p/s When all this is happening I did manage to get another 3 metres of thick clear palstic for my balcony. Well that's another story...

Look out Spain/Portugal...

These pass few days I've been busy packing and weighing my virgin luggage. I've never brought this luggage anywhere yet you see, and it's scary to think if its weight exceed 20kg. I was told Qatar airline is very strict with the weight you bring with you onto their aeroplane. The extra weight can cause me a whole lot of euros. Now, that is something I am not willing to part with ( you pun tahukan 1 euro dah RM4.50, kalau kena 20 euro tak ke parah ). The luggage by itself pun dah 7kg.


As most of you guys yang baca my blog would have known that my travel buddies and I are going to shock Spain/Portugal this 4th-13th March with our presence. I am having mix feeling about this trip. Not that I don't want to go ( I am looking forward to it ) but after reading about the kind of food they serve and the long flight, they really got to me. Anyhow, I'll be bringing our local delights such as the most frequent life saver maggie mee ( yang packing kecil punya )and the from small health drink Milo 3 in 1 ( except this time it's Fuse 3 in 1, that means ada cereal added to it ) . These delights will go into my backpack I guess.

Hopefully lepas balik nanti I will have lots to share with you all regarding the trip. Tunggu dan lihat!!

p/s by the way, the weight of the luggage as of this minute is 15kg.

My new adventures...

"You've got to exercise.." those are the famous advice most of my friends gave me whenever we meet. They are concerned for my health you see, 'cos lately nii I have been visited by many new "friends" choles and beepee.

Last weekend I decided to give it a go, this thing called exercise. Me and by buddy wanted to start our new hobby on Saturday evening ( after she had her facial done ) tapi macam biasalah kita merancang, Allah swt yang menentukan. Kita orang end up at another friend's place helping her to carry her new flower pot. It's heavy you see, so she needed a pair of strong arms to help carry it from the car park, up the lift, into the apartment and straight to the balcony. So dah ada kat rumah dia tu, start borak and berperang mulut ( biasalah kalau I am with this friend, we will always end up arguing tapi lepas tu kosong kosong balik ), jadi the plan for jogging was postponed to Sunday morning. By the way, I too got a pot for myself ( she said it's good therapy for singles).

When Sunday morning came, eventhough mata tak nak bangun, dengan azam baru ni we dragged ourselves to Tasik Titiwangsa. I dengan my walkman of course, ( there's no way I'm going to walk a few kilometers without music ) walked while my buddy jogged ( anak-anak ) beside me. It was refreshing this exercise thing nii ( just hope the semangat will last ).

p/s malam tuu dapat pulak sms from another friend ajak gi jogging lepas office hour ;-))

My seeing aids..

Lately ni I have headaches whenever I sat down to do some form of reading either from my books or my computer. Is reading not my cup of tea?? Kalau you all tak tahu lagi I'm not one who is friendly with books. Books are only read for exams. Kalau buku yang berbentuk gosip tu bolehlah baca. Tapi I do read books for knowledge every now and then like my RD and some scientific articles :-)) All these readings of course requires me to use my seeing aids, and I have plenty of them as seen here...

I have them strategically put at various places in my house; at my bedside, at my lazy chair in front of the tv set, next to my notebook, in my handbag and next to my Quran. There's one in my car just in case I need to read the sms or send one. They are my next pair of eyes you see, so I cannot leave or be home without it.

The problem now is I think some of them is giving me the headache, which one do you think they are? ( not the books, I hope ).

Whatever it is, the first thing for me to do is go get my eyes check. Who knows, may be what I need is a new pair of glasses. If that is true, which one of my seeing aids should I throw away..hmmmm??

p/s and for those that needs to use them ( whose names I won't mention here ), don't be shy to use them, 'cos they create wonderful sight hehe

Malaysia's Most Beautiful

I came to know of a few good people who were blessed with a baby girl (BG) these last two years. These babies are the pride and joy of their mums and of others who have had the chance to be in their lives. I love watching babies and trying to learn things from them.

I have personally witnessed them grow from "tembam" infant into beautiful babies ( how did that happened ). As I watched these babies grow, I wondered what hopes and dreams their mothers had for their BG.

It has been awhile since I wrote anything in my blog and I'm sure peminat-peminat blog ni menanti karya terkini dari pesara ini. Buat masa ni there is really nothing to share yet so I decided ( just so my blog is active ) to share some pictures that meant something to me personally and hope that you the readers of this blog could enjoy them too!

This picture was taken when I visited Langkawi. I was trying to capture sunset at Datai but we could not locate the beach ( it went missing?? ) so I took this shot on the way back to the hotel

This was taken when I was in Trengganu. There's nothing much to tell except that I love taking pictures.

This was taken when I was in China. You can see part of the Great Wall from the cable car ride ( just kidding, this is in Langkawi hehehe..) The ride was quite scary but enjoyable.

Siti Nurhaliza and keropok lekor...

Semua orang yang kenal I tahu I ni peminat setia Siti Nurhaliza. So rasa2nya tak sah kalau I tak include satu artikel pasal Siti dalam blog I ni, right?

Semalam tu masa tengok AJL ke 20 tak sangka akan nampak Siti semasa Red Carpet tu, ingatkan Siti takde kat Malaysia ( kata peminat setia, tapi tak tahu Siti kat mana, ish ish biasalah tuu) Anyway, bila nampak Siti appeared dengan trophy at the end of the Red Carpet tuu terkejut juga. Apa yang dia menangi? Maklumlah masa dia tunjuk tu I sibuk kat dapur mengoreng 20 batang keropok lekor losong trengganu ( yang diambil dari Ona the day before ). Pagi nii baru tahu what the trophy was for, Juara Lagu antara Juara2. Good for you my Siti. Happy kejap pagi ni.

Another thing yang buat I happy is the fact that Siti tak lagi mahu bertanding dalam AJL and dia telah diangkat ke taraf Juri. Bravo! lagi sekali untuk my Siti and syabas tu TV3 yang, for the first time, showed some brains instead of asyik nak cari gaduh dengan Siti aje ( semenjak dia tarik diri dari AJL )

Ni nak cerita sikit pasal keropok lekor tu, lepas dah goreng all 20 batang, me and my regular week-end guest sat down and mengadap the bowl full of black, garing keropok until, either our stomach nak pecah or mulut rasa nak terkeluar semua ( which ever comes first ) baru kita orang stop. Selepas tu, tak siapa pun antara kami yang nak tengok or lalu dekat dengan that bowl again ( by that time adalah 10 keping lagi ). Now, I rasa it will be another week before I can eat another keropok lekor ( that's right, just another week hehe ). Jangan ingat kita orang ni teruk, you see that was our dinner for that night.

Itulah my story di malam AJL ke 20...

Family Futsal anyone?

When I was back home for the long CNY holidays I was fortunate to be able to enjoy some form of Kelantanese cookings, had kenduri aqiqah for my newest niece, Puteri Nur Sumayyah. Did some shoppings at Pengkalan Kubur for kukusan, kuali and tempat panggang ikan. We also did some family get together for breakfast and dinners. Had a fair share of some home nursing for our beloved mum whose going through a difficult time in her life.

Just when I thought there was nothing more to look forward to, I was surprise with the opportunity to be part of the first Family Futsal ever.

Futsal was nothing new to me though I have never participated in one, playing or watching life, but this time I was there to cheer for both teams, why? because they are made up of a bunch of related men and boys. Everyone is either someone's father, brother, cousin, uncle or nephew. It was fun watching them trying to win but at the same time trying not to hurt the other in an attempt to get a goal for their team. Mana taknya kalau yang bersorak tu pula is either their mother, wife, aunty or cousin. With treats like " main elok-elok sikit, tuu ayah atau pakcik tuu" or " jangan kasar sangat tu adik, abang atau sepupu kamu tuu" followed by long loud laughter being shouted out over and over again from the bench. It sure is a memorable holiday for me. I

managed to video taped some of the action on my hp for rememberance.
